Is importing a used PC 60 from Shanghai worth the effort?

Pettiboner ยท 2017-09-08 00:13

2009, pc60, 3200hrs, $16,500 usd plus $1,950 usd shipping to Vancouver BC. What am I missing? This seems too good to be true. Thoughts? Anyone have experience doing this?

price seems too good to be true for the spec, and usually when it's like that, something's up.

unless you can personally go look and test the machine out, you are just throwing away your money, especially anything coming from china, its a crap shoot on what you may be getting..most likely a pile of junk ready for the scrap yard or something that came from the scrap yard with a new coat of paint...

Good advice I am sure. I wonder if there are agents who can do that kind of thing. Like an appraisal maybe.

there is another thread on here that went more in depth of having companies or people look at equipment before purchase, the end result was still a big risk unless you can personally go look and then the question was will you actually get what you looked at..the downside is way too much...compared to going to a person or dealer at least in your own country, then you have an idea on laws to get your money back if it isnt....

My money buying, then my eyes are going to be inspecting it. If it sounds to go to be true. It usually a lie

well just like gambling..dont bet more than you can afford to lose..lol.. its tempting but you know its gona be a nightmare...and unless you are buying from a reputable dealer ( and who would know) you have no recourse to get money back, I doubt they take pay pal..lol

Like my buddy said that works with that region. The Japanese would rather die than lie to you. The Korean's will lie only in a matter of life & death or total financial loss. The Chinese will lie to you because it's a day that ends in Y.

Wow, as an Indonesian with Chinese ethnicity, this sums up the Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese perfectly, it's too realistic.
