I dont know the exact year of the lift but its a genie TMZ 34/19 and there are two main issues the first is my battery charge indicator lights wont show me how much charge is left but when i first turn it on two of the 5 lights blink on every time and then second on the lift structure plug on the ground control box there is a loose pair of wires with connectors o. The end and they are labeled WARN + and WARN - and ideas why my lights wont come on or where the wires go to id really appreciate the help

Have you had your batteries tested. Are all the connections clean. Are all fuses good. Do you have a picture of the battery box. Do you have a good meter and a schematic? Like to help but not there. Simon C

Well firstly thank you for your helpand yes i have and i keep cheycking to make sure they are fully charged or very close to. I checked for fuses but the only one I found was a 15 amp in side of the ground controls box and it was fine i cant find any others and i basically read the manuals and im not sure what year mine is but i think that's it for fuses. I can post a picture and yes for a good tester but as far as schematic. Ive been useinng the manuals ones.

Will get back to you shortly. You need new battery cable ends as a minimum. Will explain later after supper. Simon C

Ok the bottom picture of the battery box does not look very good. All 4 connections to the positive and negative of the battery were green and you sanded them, it looks like. Yes that makes a nice contact with the battery post , but does nothing for the cable to lug connections which if the green made it into the connection can never be cleaned. Unless I am seeing wrong your cables will have to be cut back and new ends put on them. If there isn't enough cable to go back to bright coper colour. then you will need new cables. Bottom picture top 2 conections look horrible to me and need new. Only my opinion, but battery connections need to be 100% with no deterioration in cable or troubleshooting is very hard. Simon C

Thank you for getting back and ok i will fix that and see if anything changes but as a side note there are still these two connections that i have no idea where they go after reading everything i could find they come from the lift structure plug on the ground box any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Great pictures, by the way. Must go somewhere that senses battery voltage, or is just supplemetary and was never used. Look around closely and maybe it will stick out. Sorry I am not there to fix your cables. Simon C
