~$30 depending on what you run

  5. #5mikef872007-08-28 14:33

35.36 and i think 41 and change for daily rental rate if you run a crane for a crane rental company.

  6. #6qball2007-12-30 20:20

150 chicago top of the food chain. 41.95 in the dirt. more for cranes

  7. #7RollOver Pete2007-12-30 20:24

    $36.54 in So. Cal.

  8. #8CascadeScaper2007-12-31 00:50

I think the local union here is around $33 or so depending on what you're running. Starting apprenticeship wages are 65% of Journeyman from 0-1000 hours, increasing by 5% every 1,000 hours until reaching 95% at 6,000 hours.

  22. #22Turbo218352008-04-01 20:31

^ With hours and pay like that i would be retired in a few years. You guys woulndt be looking for help would you? I dont mind traveling, and love hours and hours and hours of work

  23. #23PAYTON2008-04-01 21:31

as of right now no.. hours are slow still fighting with ferc permits and land rights some owners are trying to get top dollar for damn swamp land.. and well lets be honest its swamp land not worth much but there trying to fight the price so were slow right now but will hit it hard hopefully by may 1st. then its suppose to be 14 months non stop.. will suck majorly not being around my wife and kids but in the long run when i do get to come back home the house and all the bills will be taken care of.. then i can start saving to purchase some of my own equipment and get my own thing going so i can live a normal life at home.

How does mechanic's pay compare to operator's?

Mechanics make roughly the same hourly wage as operators which in central pa is 32.66 on pipeline plus all the benefits which is around 52 total the main difference is that the mechanics usually get 16 an hour for there tools and fuel for there trucks with basically as many hours as they want on pipeline

Is there any current local 12 cal. Members here? I AM CURRENTLY studying for the apprenticeship test for ventura to San Luis county areas. Just was looking for a little info.

  45. #45Old Junk Man2015-09-22 10:48

The tweedy contractors used to have the UP contract in Missouri and southern ill. Ten years ago They offered me $8 per hr and $15 per diem to work operating a backhoe at the Piedmont mo area. and the guy your working for under bid them. So you probably qualify for food stamps.

I know this is an older posting. Would it be possible if you could update the current Wages and Benoit Package of Local 14 and 15 of NYC? Thank You Joseph
