JCB 1400b backhoe engine oil capacity

Does anyone know the engine oil capacity on a jcb 1400b backhoe with a 4.236 perkins engine

    Welcome to HEF,1400B ! Someone will eventually tell you. I don't know what it is. You could just drain the oil and put a gallon in it, then add a quart at a time until it reaches the full mark on the dipstick.

    From a quick Google search, it says 8.5qts or 8 liters

    just changed the oil and filter today, and the jcb 1400b held 11 quarts, I thought someone else may need to know
