I have a 814 super (grey cab) im looking to change the oils on her, looking underneath i see the slew hydraulic motor, take it the motor turns the ring gear, any maintenance needed here, no gearbox drives by the looks of it? Andrew
The 814's are a nice machine an I envy you knowing that there not available in my part of the woods, back in the late seventies when we were dairy farming in Lincolnshire I had a 6C, it had the same slew/ring gear, I just made sure it was clean and never lubed it at all, needless to say it was never any trouble.
