I have a jcb 215s (3cx) backhoe with air conditioning. The condenser is destroyed. A new one is $650 from jcb, $450 aftermarket, or $50 for generic universal from ebay, so...... Generic it is The problem I have is that the jcb condenser hose fittings are #6 and then something smaller (maybe #4 or 1/4") but nothing smaller exists on all of the internet! WHAT SIZE IS THIS??? I need to adapt to #6 and #8 fittings in the universal condenser. Stepping down from #8 to #6 hose is easy, but stepping from #6 to smaller looks impossible. Any ideas? I'm planning to either make a custom hose or cut the weird fitting off and crimp a #6 on if the hose size allows.
I pulled the lines off tonight, hopefully look at them good tomorrow and maybe visit the hose shop.
