I have a 2355 tractor with almost 1/2 turn of play in the steering wheel before any response from the steering linkages. I have blown two steel lines on this tractor. The lines are coming apart at the ferrule on the steering column. Could the play in the steering column be causing some kind of pressure hammer that is blowing these lines? and if so does the whole column have to come out to adjust?
Might Be Air Did You Have The Play In The Steering Before It Blew One Of The Lines Or Did It Start After A Line Blew And Then You Fixed The Line?
