got a jd backhoe at one of the ranches i do work for that was used with 4wd engaged on a rainy and mudy day and now will not disengage thought i might be swich since it got fairly wet that day. the swich checks out ok though. i am thinking maybe the solenoid but not sure which one it is or how to check it. as a temp solution i removed the front driveline so hands wouldnt tear up front knuckles they get pertty rough with equipment at times but i reallly need to get it back to operating correctly
Welcome to HEF Ken. Does the 310 have a letter designating which model it is ? Maybe a serial number would help you get help.
Have you tried lifting all the wheels off the ground to see if they Unlock
