I HAVE A JD310G BACKHOE 4045DT058. IT JUST STOPPED CRANKING. IT TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT START. I CHECKED FUSES AND RELAYS. I CHECKED THE CONNECTOR THAT GOES TO SOLENOID ON FUEL INJECTION PUMP AND IT DIDNT HAVE ANY VOLTAGE. USED A TEST LIGHT. I FOLLOWED WIRES TO THE BOX UNDER PUMP I THINK ENGINE CONTROLL BOX AND WIGGLED WIRES. DIDNT HELP I CONNECTED A GROUND WIRE TO THE GROUND WIRE ON THE PLUG AND GROUNDED IT TO THE BATTERY. THIS MADE THE PLUG HAVE POWER BUT NOT CONSTANT POWER. IT PULSES WITH I GUESS THE IGNITION WHEN TRYING TO CRANK IT. PLEASE HELP
That's not just a simple voltage at that solenoid. I'm pretty sure it's a pulse. That backhoe has a computer.
Welcome to HEF missp672000 ! Does the instrument panel read rpm when cranking?
