I have a John Deere 450(no letters) track loader. I was using the shuttle shift loading dirt from a virgin bank . I was shifting from high to low and back to reverse and I sheared off the ring gear rivets. Can I use hard bolts and tapered nuts to replace them? It is easy to get to . Is there another way to replace the rivets without tearing the whole rear end appart? Craig
i dunno why not. fine thread bolts, and crimp type locknuts it's worth a shot, before you disaasmble your entire machine :drinkup
