JD 490D parts help

looking for parts to repair the final drive reduction on a JD 490D . Are parts still available and where is a good source? Thanks, Terry

    We can supply the complete gearbox. Parts should still be available through Deere. If not, I can get them.

    Try H&R Construction Parts, they have a branch in Buffalo but their Riverside, California branch does all the final drive stuff I think 800-828-8909 A quick search shows several places offering the complete final used or rebuilt if you need to go that route, part number TH111936.
