Have a 690E that I think is stroking the pump too much. When using two functions at once or bottoming out a cylinder it will stall if you don't catch it real quick. The motor will not go to full throttle even pulling pump lever manually and feels likes it is under a load even at an idle. Pulled of the pump and started the motor and it ran labor free and throttled up fine. Put a gauge on the main system and at an idle it, all controls in neutral it should have no more than 500lbs but it is putting out 1000 to 1300. When you use a function such as lift the gauge shoots up between 4-5000. Pulled off the load sense valve and the pump displacement valve, disassembled both no broken springs Or bad o-rings, re assembled and installed. Fired it up and it idled and throttled up fine. Used a couple functions and the same problem came back. Let it sit a day and it idled and throttled up fine with no load, used a few functions and it is laboring again. Checked the ohms at the load sense solenoid on the valve and it is 25ohms, book calls for 24 to 28. Checked the voltage at the same solenoid ai an idle, controls in neutral and it was 23-24. Does anyone know of a factory tech number, all I have found are dealer numbers or anyone with a lot of experience with 690E hydraulics Thanks
There is a load piston for the swash plate in the pump that is sealed by steel rings. They break and the piston sticks sometimes in high swash and sometimes no swash.Sounds like your problem. The pump is not hard to take apart if you are handy.
Thanks. Do you know of a parts source for the Linde pumps other than JD ?
Sorry no ,Madill forestry uses that system up here.
