Seals were leaking shortly after we got this machine. The seal lip was rolled on both motors, replaced them and the new ones are leaking. Took worse one off and the seal lip is rolled. Should I be looking at a relief valve somewhere,or did someone turn up system pressure, or what do I need to look at?
That should be only case drain pressure (relatively low) at the motor shaft seals -- Both motor drain lines are tied together at the rotary manifold --then through that and on to the hydraulic tank through the filter -- look for a kinked tube at the rotary manifold restricting flow --- or one or both motors are leaking enough internally to overpressure the seals. The case drain line is the smaller line coming from the side of the rotary manifold on the top -- If you take that hose off at the tank end and measure the flow from that hose from each motor (swing sideways and lift a track off of the ground ) -- it shouldn't be more than 2 gallons per minute -- check forward and reverse --- if left reverse causes more/excess flow, then the rotary manifold seals could be the culprit as that passage is closest to the case drain passage in the rotary manifold I believe.
Rolled seals to be to much case drain from motors leaking internally or a blockage in the case drain lines
