My backhoe recently started losing power and rpms after 15 minutes or so of work. The rpms will come up but for just a second then go back down. Any ideas?
Start at the fuel tank, make sure the cap is venting (try running it with the cap removed) there's also a suction strainer, then the transfer pump, fuel filter, and also the fuel outlet fitting and return lines, make sure all are clear and you have good fuel flow to and from the injection pump to start with.
