Hi any help would be great my jd755 1980model according to my gps is only moving at four kilometres an hour full revs and the manual states a max speed of 10 she still has full lifting power and turns quick just doesnt like moving any more than walking pace
.. few days old.. Have you changed anything with the throttle cable at the clamps near the injection pump? Throttle cable also changes metering on a variable orifice on the transmission control valve under the center floor.. If thats not timed with the engine speed anymore, it will be slow.
jd755 Thanks for the reply mate. I haven't played with it but the previous owner has because there are a couple of cable ties on the accelerator cable at pump end. I will get the manual out and check if things are where they are supposed to be Hopefully she is an easy fix
