Hey folks. Wondering if anyone has any insight into this issue. JLG 400RTS scissor lift with Ford LRG engine (carb, fuel can be switched between LPG and gasoline) runs fine when started off ground control. But switch to Platform control and stalls within 2 seconds, and then is difficult to restart (need to wait between a couple minutes and say half an hour). Platform light turns on, horn works, seems all controls are getting power but can't drive or steer because it stalls so quick (and can only drive or steer from platform, not ground). I have scoured electrical diagrams and nothing jumps out that would trigger near instant shutoff of engine. Thanks in advance Ron
In case the options matter, this machine has no outriggers, is 2 wheel drive, and 2 wheel steering, but has the hydraulically extendible deck. Testing was done running on propane. Testing done with platform as low as it goes. Everything that is operable from ground control works just fine, and everything that is operable from platform while on ground control (like horn, lights, emergency shutoff) all work just fine too.
