I have JLG 40H and the main boom and the drive forward and reverse don't work doesn't matter which controls you use they don't work all other functions work any suggestions?
What engine does the machine have? Does it have PQ proportional controllers at the platform? How many proportional controls are at the platform? Drive, main boom, boom rotate? Does the main boom operate by the toggle switch at the lower controls?
Both platform and ground controls have joy stick.
It has a doytz diesel.
Wait, what? I've never seen joysticks at the lower controls, is that a hydraulic lever control machine? JLG has always used 3 types of controls on those machines, 1) standard controls, all toggle switches except for drive at platform, 2) proportional controls for drive, boom lift, and boom swing at platform with toggles at lower station, and 3) all hydraulic controls upper and lower.
