I have a 1982 JD 410 backhoe loader that has power in all gears in reverse, no power in forward gears 3 and up, and limited power in lowest forward gears. What causes this?
Bad forward clutch in the reverser most likely, although one could hope it was a linkage or valve spool issue. Have you pulled the suction strainer to see if it's plugged with debris?
