Is the engine and pump on a John Deere 690 and a John Deere 200LC interchangeable, are any other parts on these machines interchangeable. Reason for asking is my 200LC engine took a dump and I can buy a 690 with a good engine for a good price.

According to Richie Specs both machines have the same engine, I am going today to look at the 690

Ok, that's a very different kettle of fish. A 690E was replaced by the 200 with no letter. They do both use the 6068T at 14?hp. Does your 200 have series letter? (LC only refers to undercarriage length.)
