We bought 1 a year ago been good so far. Needs just about every pin and bushing replaced. Is there any major problems with this model of hoes. It's 2wd standard hoe had right around 6500 hours on it.
The only problem I've experienced is, the fuel tank rusts badly and that creates problems in the fuel system. It starts out w/ very hard starting, usually followed by giving it a sniff of ether, followed by finally changing the 2ndary filter only to call someone to find the primary filter and the water seperater, only to find the lift pump is no good.. which leads back to the rusted fuel tank.. and the pins ofcourse.. but that's basically a maintanence issue.. engine is fine overall.
Oh the rusted fuel tank yeah we have had to change filter lift pump then blew the fuel line out and it fixed it. Ares would suck air and start surging real bad. Plus we had a leaking injector to. So far it's dug 25 walnut and hickory trees out. Dug a ditch cleared all my property. Which was five acres of woods.
