I recently purchased an 89 410c. There are two dipsticks, short and tall on the right side of the machine. The taller one is the hydraulic system/transmission, the shorter looks like maybe torque converter/ reverser. What oil goes in each of these? The shorter one is a little low, do i need to check it running?... Any help would be great
Just got to the local john Deere dealer. For engine I just use normal diesel oil and for hydro I use jd fluid the machine runs fine.
I also have a 1989 JD 410 C with 4x4 and extend hoe. Use JD HYGARD in both...............
