Good evening, I have a 50D and both finals are leaking, I currently don't have a manual and not sure if outer o-ring inside cover is serviceable from outside or if whole final needs to be taken apart. Thanks for any help.
Should be able to simply remove the cover. Actually that would be the first step to any further disassembly. . . Is there a flat snap ring in a groove holding the cover on?

There is a pipe plug on the side of the ring gear case that has to be removed. Then find long fittings to screw in where the oil level plugs are in the cover and using a pry bar, rotate the cover until you see the end of the retaining ring, then using a pick, get it started out of the hole and keep rotating the cover until it is out.
