Have had the propel motor fix several time with no luck. last done by Dover hyd. The motor keeps getting hyd oil in the gear oil in very short time .If you run it very long high pressure builds up in the propel motor.Must be something on the track hoe . Motor always checks out fine. very frustrated
Check for a blocked case drain return line leaving the motor.
When you say propel motor, do you mean you removed the hydraulic motor from the final and had it repaired? The brake is in the final, did you get the brake piston resealed while the motor was out? Most common failure is the brake seals, then the motor shaft seal is second.
Yes the brake piston was resealed .
Sounds like the same problem i had with mine recently. Resealed the drive motors then withing a few hours of use the final drives were nearly full of hydraulic oil again and under enough pressure to blow the drain plug off like a bullet when i go to check them again. Turns out my rotary manifold was bad and once replaced and after i resealed the drive motors again the problem stopped.
just one of the motors is giving trouble. Did both of your's fill up hyd oil
One was worse than the other the second time it happened for sure but both were full to the top the first time it happened. Something to do with a bad design in the manifold i was told.
