Hello . I have a 710b John Deere backhoe. The transmission is out . And I am looking for someone who knows how to rebuild transmission. I am from central Kentucky. I will really appreciate .if someone know s someone in Kentucky. I just really need to fix this equipment. Thank you
That's an 8 speed JD powershift, ask around for old JD mechanics that would do this work. It's the same transmission as tens of thousands of tractors, graders, skidders, etc. How do you know it's "out"? It might be worth having the pressure tests done before removing it if it's not an obvious mechanical failure.
