Need a quick answer as looking at buying machine tomorrow at auction. Are the track pins and bushes able to be replaced or fabricated and replaced in a late 80's Kato HD900 ? The bushes have worn down to the pins but im unsure if i need to replace the entire chain link or if the bushes and pins can be replace even if they had to be fabricated at a machine shop? One of the chan links is flogged out where the pin presses in. Only one side of the machine is bad, the other is like new! Looking for a cheap fix. Im mechanically handy. Machine will be used in demolition of houses etc. Not a lot of travelling etc. Kind Regards Glen
Is it one link that is bad or the whole chain
Whats your location Glen. I know some track shops that could help.
It is the whole chain, only one side of the machine.

Just a little to far away from the people I now on the East Coast.
Dealing with RD Williams. Whilst everyone else have fobbed me off, they have been very helpfull and have located a new track chain for a reasonable price
