I had a chance to buy a D5 93j serial # for about $3000. It was a decent old machine, it had a few issues but nothing that would cost very much, it just needed some TLC. Probably missed about a $10000 paycheck.:Banghead
Bought a 570a for $3500 that wouldn't move, a new clutch and its worth $15000. One of my customers had a td 15 he wanted to sell it needed some tlc. A few nights in the shop had it running, used it for several months pulling a sheeps foot then sold it for a nice profit. Sometimes its worth the chance for a little extra cash.
