I have a 200 long stick. When I raise the boom the hydraulic are very sensitive. Boom will jump up and bog engine. All other hydraulic functions as they should be. It is only on boom up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
When you boom up do you have to move the joystick further than normal? Have you tried to change control pattern on joysticks to see if it follows?
Thanks for the reply. No, quite the opposite, It seems very sensitive. I have not tried to move the lines to see if the problem follows. That is a good idea.
Maybe a better way to describe it is that it seems like it is all our nothing. It is impossible to make it move slowly or smoothly. No problem going down only coming up.
Welcome HEF Dan Frank. The Kobelco excavator SK200 series is available in various models depending on the year of manufacture (SK200-1_SK200-IV_SK200-VI...). We can only help you better if you take some pictures of your machine, especially its monitor or its serial number.
If swapping pilot lines does not change it you might have a broken return spring on the spool possibly.
