Has anyone any experience with Kobelco final drives? I have a 2006 sk115 srdz, and planetary just got real loud bearing noise and started leaking out hydraulic fluid. Took it out and brought it to the dealer and am not sure what to expect.
On the hydraulic motor there should be a tag with a serial number and model number. Can you post these? These final drives can be repaired and don't always need to be replaced.
Looks like an integral drive, sounds like something in the motor came apart and you lost the shaft seal if you had hydraulic leaking out of the planet seals. If you're lucky bearings, seals, and maybe a cylinder block kit.
From what I've been told they are very similiar to the drives in my machine which have been rebuilt.
