I am also looking for a Kobelco repair Manuel. Its for a model -SK 25 SR-2. I can't even find anyone who works on them in my area. I'm having some hydraulic problems that have stumped me I'm almost positive it has something to do with the factory safety feature that disengages all controls when the arm rest is raised. The safety switch itself works fine the problem is down the line somewhere else. The machine the proper amount of hyd fluid in it and the blade othe front raises and lowers fine. Any help will be greatly appreciated" Thank you
What the "safety" switch or arm release does is dump your pilot pressure to the tank. The pilot pressure is what is used to shift all of your valves. The pilot pressure most likely will be coming off of a small gear pump. You can tee into the in port of the "safety" valve and see if there is any pressure. Then tee into the line going to your joystick or pattern valve and see what the pressure is. Also check the flow going back to the tank
The blade isn't protected by the safety switch, if that helps...
The safety switch itself works fine the problem is down the line somewhere else. Unless you already metered the switch, put a meter on it and check it several times should read zero ohms when closed , it gets the most wear and is likely to break also check the wires on back side. My ex has one safety on each arm but only the left one gets used all the time.
what exactly are the problems? intermittent loss of all hydraulic functions until you cycle the armrest a few times? here is a link for a sk25-2 repair manual download, costs $40. i got mine from this website too and it was the legit 650 page kobelco manual.
