Kobelco sk135 a-adjustment and cpu error

Hi! I had some issues with step motor, ithad some water in it and started jamming. I took it to parts, cleaned up and put back together. Now ican't get the a-adjustment through. At step 4, it doesnt go anywhere near the max stop bolt, and gives the cpu condition error. - can the steppermotor be at the wrong step when i have put it back together? -how do i adjust the position of the limit switch? Should the limit switch activate at shutting down the engine, max rpm or where? Thank you in advance.

take the linkage off the stepper motor then when you first start into the A adjustment procedure you should have a screen that says Gap-Stop. you need to go back to the stepper motor and adjust the linkage to stop bolt clearance to 1mm. then continue the adjustment

As Mr. Helmke said. The most common cause is that the "LINK- ROD" of the stepping motor is not set correctly. You should "use a thickness gauge to adjust the rod length so that the gap "A" between the governor lever and the engine stop set bolt on the inside of the engine room is 0.1mm".
