Komatsu decided to close his Wheel Loader plant in Candiac ( suburbs of Montreal ) in Quebec. They want concentrate the production across the U.S. plant. It was the only one Komatsu plant in Canada with 300 union worker. Frenchy
Interesting... where were the Canadian-produced machines sold? (Within Canada or all of NA)
They sold the loader across Canada and in some New-England States like ME-VT-NH-MA-NY-PA. The plant close definitively end september. 300 worker loose there job with 400 jobs all around the production plant. Frenchy:canada
The loaders they produced were shipped across north america.
I'd expect Komatsu and other large equipment manufacturers to close or cut back production all around the world in light of this world-wide recession/depression.
:canada Thank for this information! I didn know that before!!! Frenchy:canada
what a shame, Are k dealer is actually doing very well, but who can afford a new loader these days?
might be a good thing if the engineers of the w600 6 is also out of work.

Speaking of Komatsu, how is the new Komatsu Dealer in California doing? is it Road Machinery? Is it the same Road Machinery that is in Arizona?
poor engineering i hope the komatsu dealer isnt doing very well. we have a new w600 6 and it is probably the worst engineered machine i have ever been around. it reminds me of the old days when hough always had the lowest price but the worst machines. you see where it got hough.
