What are the early signs of a pending steering clutch failure? My Komatsu D-41 steers well for 30-45 min of first and second gear movement of dirt/loading. After that time it takes full pedal input to coax small turns right or left with little or no load. When this happens shifting to second or even third gear and steering returns. Is this a sign that the steering clutch plates are worn and need to be replaced or am I missing something here?
