Dear Members, I have a job to install the engine of a Komatsu PC300-8 excavator. I want to ask what electric procedures should be done when installing ? I mean is there any need of reprogramming of anything after installing ? Thanks in advance, Ahmed Sherif
I've not work on a Dash 8 but never had to do anything on the earlier models. Only thing that might need to be done is adjust the engine throttle control. While the engine is out I always took a good look at the wiring harnesses.
-8's are electronically controlled. just plug in the harness and go.
