I don't know much about Komatsu rock trucks. Looking for a couple things. When using retarder. Better to keep rpm up for cooling ? Also having engine overheating issues. Not just mine. Multiple trucks. We're hauling material...uphill. Ya great. Thanks in advance.
Make sure to keep the radiator clean, pressure wash if possible or blow it out good Check engine air filter - Replace *not blow out* Make sure coolant is level in rad and or in the overflow bottle if equipped You can also check engine oil, smell it for fuel or coolant - check viscosity / thickness of oil - maybe time for oil change - check hours Theses are all common things that can cause overheat situations very easily
