While working on a hydraulic leak I loosened control cable to my left tracking lever. After fixing leak I put control cable back in slot and tightened jam nut. But, my levers were not longer aligned, off by at least 2 inches, and when pulling lever backards I had almost no track movement. Anyone know what I don wrong? Thanks!!!
Those cables usually have two jam nuts, one on either side of the slot, for adjustment. Sounds like you loosened one nut to remove, and then tightened the other one to replace. Takes very little movement of the cable housing to make a two inch difference. Just loosen one nut and adjust until the lever is even with the other one, should be fine. Done it myself more than once on similar cable setups.
