Any Ideas, after it sits for a few hours it will rinse and repeat. Checked entire fuel system for restrictions/contamination. Replaced all of the fuel filters, replace transfer pump. Only thing I can think of is high pressure pump?
Does it die instantly or start to miss and die. I have a Dash 8 manual but not one for Dash 7. Are there any codes on the display. Maybe post your serial number to see if there are any differences or splits in service information. Have you tried running with only a rag taped over the fuel tank top where the cap goes on. Simon C
Have you checked any banjo bolts for small screens? Have you checked the diagnostics in the monitor panel?
Try to buy a used machine that is less than 2 years old.
^^^^^^ That’s as helpful as tits on a bull! I would try looking in the fuel tank and maybe blow back through it as soon as it shuts down and see if it starts back up. It could be as simple as something in the tank getting sucked in and causing a fuel supply issue. You could also put in some clear line from the filter to the pump and check that when it dies. After it dies, you could also take off the supply filter and check for fuel. You could also be dealing with a fuel solenoid shut off with a coil going bad after heating up. Good luck.
We had algae/snot growing in a fuel tank. It would idle all day. Run hard for 20 minutes, and it would die. Snot would all fall back into the tank, and it would fire right back up. Run hard and it would gradually suck it all back up. There was a check valve in the fuel line that would become plugged.
