I've got a Komatsu PC50UU-1 that I'm just getting used to, new to me. I want to change the oil in the final drives before putting it to work but can't find what oil to use. I've got the PDF manual, I think all that's available for it, but there's no spec for the final drive oil. Anyone got any idea? It's a Hy Dash final drive. Also, it's got the rubber tracks, do the rollers or front idler require lube? I can't find any way to lube them. Thanks, Greg
My complete guess is Texaco Geartex EP-B 80W/90 for the oil (or equivalent), no grease for the rollers (lifetime) and look for a zerk on the idler.
