Hi, I have a komatsu wa450- 5L serial no. A36104 that has an electronic engine SAA6D125E-3, and id like to change it to a mecanic engine SAA6D125E-1. It fits just fine but im not to sure on how to work with the electrical system, if i install this engine, the loader will activate all the codes related to the engine. Can the adaptation work?
I am not familiar with wa450-5L, if the engine ecu is the only computer module on this machine, which I doubt, It would work. If there is a tcu and dash module it will code up because the other modules will not recognize the ecu. Is it possible to convert the mechanical engine to electronic using the electrical from the original engine, I have done this with some john deere power tec engines as well as mid range cummins engines.
