Anyone have any similar issues. Machine has no codes, all fuel filters replaced along with the fuel pump and complete water separator housing and the filter head replaced. Blown out the fuel lines and didn't see any debris in the elbows on the filter head and lines. It does show that the engine rpm is too low to regen sometimes. Engine position sensor was changed. Injector harness checked out good.
Have you checked the shut off solenoid to make sure its not sticking?
No but we ended up putting injectors in it. It runs much better but to me it seems a little rougher at idle than it should. The machine has about 5600 hours on it and its pretty rough. It needs a lot but they want to run it till it quits.
If it runs quite a bit better with the new injectors, don't be surprised if the old injectors did not leave a little damage to the cylinders before they came out. That does not include just wear to valves in heads and fuel pump output down a hair. Lots of contributing factors to make them run rougher when cold. Simon C
