Tractor moved forward and reverse with no issue but had a leak on top in-between the HST and the valve plate. split the tractor just enough to remove disintegrated gasket between HST and valve plate and slid it back together. Got everything back together and it wasn't leaking. Reassembled everything and then went to move it out... No go. My husband took the filter off noticed a perfect circular rtv in the filter entry picked it out. I apparently rtv'd the port holes. Found the second port hole rtv piece in between the check and high pressure relief valves. So we tore it apart a second time clean out all relief valves and ports. Changed filter still no forward or reverse. Tore apart 3x to recheck. Took the servo piston and assembly apart. All clean. No forward or reverse. The 4th time we took and were checking pressures (don't have a gauge) unscrewed the filter. There is not 300 psi, probably not even 100. Oil cooler is flowing so thats not clogged. Checked the charge and filter relief all clean seem ok. Opened port that is in between the charge pump and the relief valves low pressure. So my husband has been saying the charge pump after about the 2nd or 3rd time. The charge pump had witness marks and I'm not sure we put it back in the way we took it out (arrows in or out not sure). Would this be the right diagnosis? It's either buy a pump for $1100 or call a tech and have them go through the same thoughts. We've been struggling for the last 3 weeks with it down. He was sick in the beginning when we started to take it apart. Should add the screen on the suction port is clean. Attached pictures from the workshop manual.
