What are the potential reasons a 220E won't lift the front tires off the ground? I have tried using the curl to change the bucket angle etc and made sure the float control was off. Pushing the lift cylinders all the way down and they are not retracting fully and lifting the front wheels off the ground like they should. Thanks
Does the bucket creep down when the boom is lifted?
Didn't really notice it creeping down. It was at the local auction yard. Looked in really good shape but would not lift the front wheels pushing down. The other L220E parked beside it would push the wheels off the ground by about 10 inches no problem but this one nope. I suspect it is either a cylinder bypassing internally (there was no visible exterior leaks) or a unknown conflict form the float control? Increasing the engine RPM did not make a difference.
Boom suspension enables float. If boom suspension is on, (hotwired) it won't lift. BSS should not be enabled in neutral.
