Can you put on a 72" bucket? Going to be loading trucks but am thinking that might be too much weight loading over the side of the tracks. Just trying to be as productive as possible. Thanks
It's the total capacity of the bucket and not the width that will determine whether or not the bucket it too big.
First question would be what does the loose material that you are loading weigh per cubic yard or cubic metre..?
Good day The previous comments are related to the tipping and hydraulic capacity of the machine other factors are what length of arm you have the shorter the better for production, if you have a quick coupler installed this will swallow some of the capacity, mass excavators rarely have quick couplers. In the tests I have been involved there comes a point where the load will slow the machine causing negative production. If you would like the spread sheet formula for bucket capacity drop me a line.
