Hello, have a link belt exc that has not been ran in several years and we are trying to get it going. Starts and runs good, tracks will move forward and back but the boom will not move. Motor doesn’t labor, try, nothing. Hyd fluid level is good. It worked fine when it was parked. Any ideas? Thanks!
Good day Jp A question or two - is the problem isolated to the boom or other functions - will the boom power down or is the issue only when you raise ? better information received better advise given so to say. Kind regards Uffex
Hello, yes problem is with boom only, no swing, raise, extend or anything with boom. Tracks still move forward and backward. Thanks
Sorry JP confusion rules the plot - do I understand the issue correctly - all functuns work apart from the boom which neither works when you operate the lever to raise or lower ? Kind regards Uffex
We got it fixed thanks. Mice chewed wires supplying power to pilot valve selenoids.
