We are looking for an oil cooler for our LS-4300 CII, preferably used. Ours has tube corrosion all along the lower columns and our radiator shop has tried their best to seal multiple tubes. It's looking pretty grim so I would appreciate any leads on finding one in the northwest region of the U.S. as shipping a 240 lb hunk of brass will be considerable. Many thanks. -Tom
That cooler is also in Case 9050's Try fraley - http://fraleytractor.com
Much appreciated! Thanks for the lead.
Fraley was a no go. I saw a Case 9050B (1998 machine) that was being parted out in Minnesota but the picture of the oil cooler had it lying horizontally rather than vertically as our 1989 beast mounts. Is the later Case also a Sumitomo machine, and should the cooler be interchangeable (maybe with minor modification to mounting?
A new cooler is close to $4000 and well out of our range for the resurrection of our machine. Found one used from AMS Construction Parts, pressure and flow tested before shipping. $1250 includes shipping from MN to CA. I call it a bargain and within the dwindling budget for our small mining operation!
Apparently the Case 9050B is the same as Link Belt LS4300Q, but maybe not the same as the LS4300 CII. We're waiting on an answer as to whether or not this used Case cooler will work on our CII.
