This may be an obvious question but I have learned better to ask first. Where is the hydraulic filter located on a PC 130-5 excavator and what is the best procedure to replace, if there is one? I see a filter on the back side of the tank, in the right engine compartment but wanted to know if that was the right one. Thank you in advance! Link
Have only done a pc200 and Hitachi's, but most seem to be fairly simple. Do the change cold, depressurize the tank first. Most seem to have a long/narrow alloy housing, drop out the element, take the code off it, ring around for price and availability, and repeat every 500 hours. Good luck and happy digging.
