My neighbour Low Bedding at the Highland Valley mine, makes the Cat 16 grader look like a toy. I have not heard back as to how heavy the counter weight out in front of tow truck weighs.
The counter weight off the front of truck is 45,000 lbs.
Why is the weight up front needed? Doesn't the trailer put enough up front to steer?
Not enough weight on the steers when one looks at the shape of the dump box there is a lot of weight forward. with a haul truck on the trailer not enough I am sure the mine tested it and had to go this direction.
Interesting the trailer is a single axle. Do you know how much it's rated for?
