Caterpillar 224b Id 7wf00130 wheel excavator. I have max psi in big pump 350bar And in joystick inside the cab 27bar ( from pilot pump). From power im okay BUT the excavator its very slow in all his movements.during work the problem seems to go away and it is normal and fast. I have hydraulic slow.I think something is cutting off or reducing the oil pressure from the joysticks to the big controller to make the movement whatever.Have you ever experienced something similar or do you know the problem? pressure is force we lack speed of movements. and to catch some up, the dealership no longer deals with this particular machine, i have brought six repair shops and they have not helped me!!
one more thing I forgot, I set the pilot pump to 32 bar but the machine is still slow in all movements
i would start with checking margin pressure "Cycle times for each of the circuits; boom, stick, bucket, swing and travel. Cycle times that are longer than shown in the Specifications are the result of leakage, pump wear or incorrect pump speed (rpm) or pump angle and stroke. See subject Cycle Times. If cycle times are slow but the pump is not stroking back correctly (not at maximum pressure), check for correct adjustment of the load sensing regulator. Pressure is correct when the difference between pump pressure and load sensing pressure (margin pressure) for the 213B, 214B & 214B FT is 1585 to 1690 kPa (230 to 245 psi). For the 224B, the correct pressure difference is 2000 to 2100 kPa (290 to 305 psi). If cycle times are slow but the main pump is operating at high pressure, check for a restriction of oil flow in the return to the tank."
the main pump the pilot pump the pilot signal on the central large control is ready and checked every three times with at least six instruments engaged simultaneously. Listen draw a cane the hydraulic is slow, one movement !! BUT with double movement of stick and booma it becomes fast. Obly with booma i have faster hydraulics
Correct margin (load sensing) pressure will make sure that the pump is signaled to upstroke when an implement is activated. This will keep pump output at a higher pressure than the required load pressure.

how to let you figure it out you press the joystick to make it move i mean it starts slow and suddenly it opens fast. Only with booma work fast. The bucket dont have problem.
