Had the red flashing icon come on then 3 seconds later engine shuts off. Went to my book and called my handy mechanic friend (younger then me) and we started the check list. Concluded it was the hydraulic filter but...In the effort to find the code we locked the hydraulics out! Bought a new filter today and the tractor started right up! However the hydraulics are locked. Tried to put a new code in, no way, wont work!! Any simple solution? Rancher in Alaska
If you put it in service mode will anything work? Most of the time a lock out has to do with the seat switch or seatbelt switch. After that it could be in the electrical locks in the control valve. It’s under a plate between your feet. Are the pedal linkages free? They often get full of trash and bind up. Flip the seat up and take a look at the control valve and linkages to make sure nothing is unplugged or wires haven’t been pinched or chewed.
