Hello i just got the cummins insite and i was trying it out and pluged into my low boy tractor and cylinders 4,5,6 all failed cummins accelerator based cutout test . Truck seams to run ok dont know the injector history was wondering is this checking injector and cylinder condition? thanks for the help. Truck has about 500,000 miles and history is unknown Jason
If the truck runs ok, I would not worry about it, but if it seems low on power those injectors are where I would start. I think that particular test cuts off the injector and records the rpm drop that is then used to determine if the injector is good or bad.
