just inherited this and not sure what it’s from or it’s capability. Anyone enlighten me on this sheeve block.
Probably for 3/4" or 7/8" cable. They make a gauge to fit in the sheaves for sizing. Should list a capacity on the tag, but on a lot of the older ones it doesn't. So figure around 30-50 ton, depending on cable size. Off a old american crawler or lattice truck crane. Probably 1950-60's, not likely any newer. No current value, without a latching hook, no one is realistically going to use it.
